Blogging

Friday, Blog day all you need to know.Well you might need the topic so:
Creating scenes in a sequence helps game designers tell the "story" of their game through a narrative. How are you using visual storytelling through your sequence of scenes to help players learn about your topic? What are examples of games you played in the Playing to Learn topic that use storytelling to teach a concept well? How have other narrative games influenced your game?
We have not really done a story any more than go from point A to point B while doing scientific notation questions. I suppose ZeitGeist would  suffice for the visual story telling but it's not really the best example. Our original idea for our game was greatly inspired by ZeitGeist and Fallout 3 and now its it's own  original project well that's it Bye.

Whatever you want this to be titled

Friday, so those that actually read this blog should know this is blog day so let's get to the topic. How has this assignment (Paper prototyping) helped you think more clearly about your game idea? Has it caused you to modify your ideas or approach? Why or why not?  In order, let's rock this thing.
Paper prototyping has allowed me to get the basic outline of our game and made us actually think on whats up and what's down in our game. We have what our character  looks like, what the enemies look like, we even have a rough design of the final boss.
It changed our entire gameplay scheme. Before your character was controlled like how you would imagine a Mario game but now your character stands still with a grenade cannon (which we dub the Bill Nye Bomber) and shoots at robots who have flash drives on  their deactivated bodies. All in all it will hopefully be a good game.

Wahtever you want this to be titled so in my case "Fuzzy Pickles"

Well it's blog day so I must type my teeny tiny little shriveled up black heart out so, let's get this party started. Here is the topic:
Copy your synopsis of your game onto your blog.
What are you most excited about as you start making your game?
Update your research resources on your blogroll and add new ones that will help you keep up on this topic throughout your game design experience.
Here's the Synopsis: A scientist named Jack is sent foward in time by his evil co-worker, Jim, and fnds imself in the body of a averagepost-apoctolyptic man as this game takes place in post-apoctolyptic America exact location has not been decided at this time.
That idea has been tossed around a bit and some of it has been tossed out manely the scientist's name being Jack and that's really it. I really hope people will like this game, me and the rest of the No More Heroez crew are hard at work on the basics of making our game such as what our characters will look like what the enemies will look like and how the heck we are gonna get all of this going at once. Wellso long fare well and ado to all of you. ~ZeroHeroes23~

Globaloria Gaming and beyond

So it's friday and in that, it's blog day, and from what my teacher has up we have the easiest topic ever W00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000T. *Throws confetti everywhere and some random clown comes in and goes 'Ha-ha-ha-HAHA'*
So the questions were: Do you play games in your free time? Which ones do you play and why are they your favorite? Does this topic give you a new perspective about playing games? Why or why not?
So during this blog I shall answer these questions. I do play games in my spare time, in fact most of my spare time is occupied by playing games. I've been playing Fallout 3 quite a bit lately so at the  moment it's probably my favorite at this moment in time, I enjoy the game becauseit's fun it's big and above all it's violent violence is awesome. Fallout 3 is M rated so children should not play it. I just realized something relatively funny about my blog so far, I sound like President Eden from Fallout. The flash setup has definately changed my opinion on gaming but hasn't  really made me game any differently. Actually, because of what we've done I know whhaere glitches come from so yay. All in all Globaloria is fun and more, and I can't wait to get started on my game.
